WARIS CARE is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that took its first steps towards a brighter future in August 2017. Born out of the vision to transcend barriers and reach every individual in need, Waris Care is committed to establishing a platform that not only encourages financial contributions but also promotes the sharing of human capital and innovative ideas. The organization is dedicated to fostering an organized, community-based system where collective efforts contribute to sustainable development.
Mission
Our mission at Waris Care is to uplift marginalized communities in the Greater Somalia and the broader Horn of Africa region. We strive to catalyze sustainable improvements in their livelihoods by integrating key focus areas such as Food Security, Health and Nutrition, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, Environmental Sustainability, Natural Resource Management (NRM), and Peace Building & Governance. By addressing these facets comprehensively, we aim to create a positive and lasting impact on the socio-economic landscape of the communities we serve.
